Red Hot Chilli Peppers bassist Flea has surprised fans with a trailer for a brand-new documentary project about Cro-Mags founder Harley Flanagan.Flea took to Instagram on Thursday (November 14) to share footage of the secret project, which still remains shrouded in mystery. Henry Rollins is unlikely to go back to music anytime soon, claiming that he “wouldn’t go back on stage with a band for anything”.The artist was answering questions submitted by fans via The Guardian, one of whom asked why he had stepped back from making music in recent years.“I stopped processing ideas in terms of lyrics. One day, I woke up and thought: ‘I’m done’.  My manager flipped out, but I’ve never looked back,” he said. “I didn’t want to become a human jukebox playing old songs, so I filled the space the band took with films and TV and now my shows, my radio show and writing.

Henry Rollins has spoken out about the Russia-Ukraine conflict, reflecting on the upheaval in the lives of Ukrainians as a result of the war.Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the country’s military to launch a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24. The UN reported that 549 civilians had died as of March 10 – although they believe the total could be much higher – while the US military estimates that between 2,000 and 4,000 Ukrainian armed forces, national guard and volunteer forces have also been killed.In an interview on New York’s 102.3 WBAB radio station, Rollins spoke about the conflict and shared his experiences of visiting Ukraine. “The thing is still, in a way, breaking news,” he said, per Blabbermouth.

Suicide have announced the release of their first ever career-spanning collection.Called ‘Surrender’, the collection will be released on Mute/BMG on March 25.The 16-track collection, also contains previously unheard material from the duo, made up of Martin Rev and the late Alan Vega.Two new, unreleased tracks also feature on the collection: ‘Girl (Unreleased Version)’ and ‘Frankie Teardrop (First Version)’. Henry Rollins has announced a new set of UK live dates on his ‘Good To See You’ tour next year.The frontman, presenter and spoken-word artist is preparing a one-man show for 2022 which will “faithfully recount the events of his life in the brief pre-COVID period since the last tour and when things got even stranger over the last several months”.“It’s been an interesting time to say the least and he’s got some great stories to tell,” an accompanying statement announcing the tour promises.Rollins will kick off the UK leg of his ‘Good To See You’ tour on February 18 in Bexhill-on-Sea and will then visit venues in Cardiff, Bath, Birmingham and more before concluding the jaunt in Manchester on February 28.Tickets for Rollins’ ‘Good To See You’
