HOLLYOAKS is set to run out of new shows in July, The Sun Online can exclusively reveal, and in case the cast are unable to return to filming bosses have drawn up a Plan B to air old episodes.
The Chester-based soap was forced to shut production down amid the coronavirus pandemic, and as a result episodes were reduced from five to two in order to stay on screens for as long as possible.
A source at Hollyoaks revealed that there are only enough episodes to run until the end of July so bosses have drawn up a Plan B in case the cast aren't able to return to work.
