This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were back in the hosting chair on Monday 5th September after taking summer leave.The dynamic duo, admitted that they had "really missed" each other despite catching up at Holly's house once during their time out.Having not seen one another for quite some time, they couldn't help but point out some notable differences when it came to their appearance on the returning show.READ MORE: Ruth Langsford red-faced as she's forced to perform racy dance on This MorningHolly, who has became famous for her platinum blonde bob-cut, switched things up in August and opted for hair extensions.Phil commented: "Long hair.""Yes, all that sun and a little bit of glue and a little bit of help from my hairdresser friend and it's like magic."Talk then turned to Phil, who appeared to be boasting a glazed and glassy looking eye, as if he'd been crying.Reassuring fans he was not in tears, he explained: "I've got a dilated pupil and am still taking drops for the next week."Holly quipped: "It does look a little bit freaky."Later on in the programme Phil explained that he'd undergone surgery after suffering from floaters in his eyes.The TV star had been struggling with the eye condition for some time, with his vision being seriously restricted by what appeared to be dark blobs that would take over what he could and couldn't see.Speaking honestly about the condition, Phil went on to explain that he'd been in tears when he could finally view things clearly.He told Holly: "After having them done [his eyes] in the summer I lay back and looked up at the clear blue sky and started to cry because it was so beautiful."This Morning airs weekdays on ITV from 10am.READ MORE:This Morning derailed as.
