Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond join thousands to lay flowers at Buckingham Palace

ITV presenters have been sharing their feelings in the wake of the Queen's death today in special episodes of This Morning and Good Morning Britain.

Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond appeared on the This Morning sofa to pay tribute to the Queen who died last week aged 96 and to talk about their experience of laying flowers at Buckingham Palace this weekend.

Many have visited Buckingham Palace over the last few days to reflect on the Queen's life and view the thousands of cards and flowers which have been laid outside the gates.

And amongst the thousands of people heading to pay their respects were presenters Alison, 47, and Dermot, 49, who joined in laying flowers for Her Majesty.
