Playboy bunnies living at the Mansion developed “toxic” relationships as a result of jealousy over Hugh Hefner, Holly Madison has claimed.Holly was one of Hefner’s most prominent "girlfriends" and lived at the Mansion with the tycoon for seven years – before becoming disillusioned with the Playboy lifestyle. She has given a number of interviews criticising the magazine mogul since his death and once claimed that living inside the lavish LA property was a “cult-like” environment. Now, the model has responded to fans’ questions in a YouTube Q&A, where she opened up on the competition between the women who were vying for Hefner’s attention. And, even though the Mansion was sold after the 91 year-old died in 2017, Holly claimed that some Playboy bunnies continued to hold grudges to this day.“The situation between the women was so toxic up there,” she said, alleging that some of her former housemates were “still mad” about events that took place 20 years ago.“I feel like there was a whole kind of feeling that was bred at the Mansion and encouraged by Hef where everybody kind of felt like, ‘I’m not getting what I want out of this situation, and if it wasn’t for this other girl over there I’d totally be getting it.”And, because Holly was Hefner’s main girlfriend at one point, she fell victim to jealousy. The Girls Next Door star implied that backstabbing bunnies envied her status within the adult brand.“And then after they all left all of a sudden the reality show came in and we were on the cover of the magazine four times, so they’re mad, and they’re still mad,” she explained.“These people will come out against me and they try to make it look like they’re doing it out of loyalty to Hef.“But it’s like, at the time, when I was there.
