Father’s Day is highly unnecessary. Any Dad reading this will concede, we don’t need anything. A father tends to reduce his expectations and yearnings for material ‘stuff’ as family life chips away at him over the years, invariably he’ll be left with a handful of pleasures - a luxury watch, bike, experience - but he’ll prefer to select these himself, so don’t fret.Besides, if he’s a drinker, it’s a piece of cake – indeed, it’s easier than a piece of cake.
