Europa Conference League clash sold out after 15 minutes – and now the club have secured more tickets to push the overall attendance to 4,700.
Easter Road chiefs have been in contact with City of Edinburgh Council decision makers concerning Thursday's match at home to FC Santa Coloma of Andorra.
They were initially keen to secure 10,000 fans – which would have been the highest yet for a Scottish club side since supporters started returning to stadia across the country but just shy of the 12,500 that were allowed inside Hampden for Scotland's Euro 2020 fixtures.
Celtic were given the green light for just 9,000 fans before Aberdeen were permitted 5,655 and Hibs have been in on-going negotiations with the local authority.
