Quick-thinking passers-by rescued two toddlers from the jaws of a guard dog which had escaped its owner. Heroic Nighat Khatoon dashed from her car after spotting the attack in Birmingham, with the two little girls being mauled by the vicious canine.
She tried to pull one of the victim's away, while Yaser Baig kicked the dog to free the other child before putting them inside a car while the police arrived.
The two girls - aged two and three - were rushed to Birmingham Children's Hospital following the incident on Monday afternoon, reports BirminghamLive.
