A hero dad died rescuing two of his seven children who got caught in a deadly rip tide at sea. Jonathan Stevens, 36, was enjoying a day at the beach with his family when two of his children got into difficulty in the water.
The brave plasterer managed to pull his children to safety after they got caught in the current at the popular Barmouth Beach in Snowdonia, Wales.
The family, from Telford, Shropshire, were enjoying a day trip on August 2 when disaster struck and Mr Stevens tragically died, North Wales Live reports.
His partner Laura Burford, who was at home when the incident happened, said she was absolutely devastated to have lost "the love of her life" who died saving their "babies." The heartbroken mum expressed her grief soon
