Tributes have been paid to a much loved father and grandfather after a man appeared in court accused of his murder. Ian Bent, 47, died following an incident in Tameside in the early hours of Friday.

Now his family have paid tribute to him, describing as a 'friend to many' and a being able to 'put a smile on anyone's face'.
