Last week, Rockstar announced that they are working on GTA 6. The developers said: "We're pleased to confirm that active development for the next entry in the series is underway.

We're a long way off knowing an exact date for the release, but piecing together everything that's been said about the game over the years, we might be able to narrow it down.In a press release announcing Take-Two Interactive's purchase of mobile game company Zynga, there was a section called "Strategic Rationale and Stockholder Value Creation" which had a note.It read: "Looking ahead, the combined company is expected to deliver a 14% compound annual growth rate… over the three-year period from Take-Two's Fiscal Years 2021 through 2024."According to an analyst from investment banking firm Jefferies, there are only "a handful of titles" that managements can be so confident about, leading to the belief that "there is at least one Rockstar IP set to be released by FY24".
