Disney shares jumped in early Friday trading and reached an all-time high of $171.

Cowen analyst Doug Creutz has downgraded his rating on Walt Disney's stock from "outperform" to "market perform" after cutting his financialestimates and price target due to what he now expects to be a "longer impact on parks and film" from the novel coronavirus pandemic. Reducing his stock price target from $101 to $97, Creutz wrote on Thursday:"With the spread of COVID-19 having accelerated in the U.S., we expect a prolonged impact." And he noted that Florida and California, the homes of Disney's two U.S.

Cowen analyst Doug Creutz on Monday cut his earnings estimates for the entertainment giants he covers, including the Walt Disney Co. and ViacomCBS, through 2022 due to the new coronavirus, an expected recession and their longer-term fallout and lowered his stock price targets.

Lionsgate's stock got support from Cowen & Co. analyst Doug Creutz, who in a Thursday report called it "our best idea among our covered small-and mid-[sized] names." Reiterating his "outperform" rating and $14 price target on the stock, he called Lionsgate an "under-appreciated [streaming] play." And he told investors: "We view the recent share weakness as an opportunity to own Lionsgate stock at an attractive valuation given likely revenue and free cash flow acceleration into 2021." Starz global streaming subscriber count stands at 10.6 million, but is expected to reach 13 million-15 million by the end of the year, "at which point they will likely be over 50 percent of total subscribers," the analyst highlighted.
