Great British Bake Off winner Frances Quinn has reportedly been banned from Waitrose after accusations of shoplifting. Quinn, 38, was reportedly stopped by undercover store detectives at a branch of the posh supermarket in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, after they suspected her of attempting to leave the store without paying for her items – which included flour and eggs.
According to The Sun, police were called to the Waitrose branch where Quinn was interviewed. After agreeing to give the items back, the baker was allegedly banned from Waitrose.
A spokesperson from Leicestershire Police confirmed that a 38-year-old woman had been banned from entering the premises over shoplifting accusations.
