A corner of the Emmerdale set is forever marked with the late Paula Tilbrook's presence. The soap star - famed for playing Betty Eagleton for 21 years on the soap - died on December 1 last year, but news of her death came to light on Wednesday after when her obituary was published.
And back in 2015, when she wrapped her final scenes on the ITV soap, the actress ensured the memory of her beloved character would be etched on the set of the Yorkshire based drama for eternity.
The star's final farewell on-screen took place at the secret place where her on-screen love Seth, played by the late Stan Richards, was buried.
And engraved onto one of the trees on the plot were Betty and Seth's initials - which will last in memory of the much-loved TV
