Granit Xhaka has opened up on how a chat with Mikel Arteta convinced him to press the reset button on his Arsenal career. The Swiss star was stripped of the club captaincy by Unai Emery after his public outburst at fans earlier this season.
But he has been given a new lease of life since former player Arteta replaced Emery in the hotseat. The midfielder started Arsenal’s last eight Premier League games under the Spaniard prior to the coronavirus pandemic.
