Grandmother in six-year battle over ‘nightmare’ mouse infestation

An exasperated grandmother says she has been locked in a six-year battle with the rats and mice infesting her home. Karen Connell claims the tiny pests are regular visitors to her flat, in Princess Parade, Bury, and has even snapped pictures of them.

The 58-year-old lives in the home with her son, his fiance and her 18-month-old grandson but says that the vermin are making her life a "nightmare".
