Grammys 2021 'In Memoriam' Performance Featured So Many Stars Honoring the Ones We Lost This Year

Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, who performed earlier in the night as the duo Silk Sonic, honored Little Richard who died last May at age 87.
The pair covered his hits “Long Tall Sally” and “Good Golly Miss Molly”. Lionel Richie then gave a somber performance of his close friend Kenny Rogers‘ song “Lady”, which Lionel wrote, and “The Gambler”.
The country music legend passed away in March at the age of 81. Brandi Carlile followed with a rendition of John Prine‘s “I Remember Everything.” John died from complications related to COVID-19 in April at the age of 73.
