‘Gossip Girl’ reboot adds Tavi Gevinson and more to cast

nypost.comThe “Gossip Girl” reboot is lining up its cast. HBO Max announced Wednesday that Tavi Gevinson, Thomas Doherty, Adam Chanler-Berat and Zion Moreno have joined the show, which will be set in the world of Manhattan private schools eight years after the events of the original show in a landscape where social media has changed the nature of gossip.
Gevinson is the biggest name of the bunch, and the most meta casting choice. The 23-year-old founder of Rookie magazine, which closed in 2018, put her on the map as an influencer.
She made her feature film debut in 2013’s “Enough Said” and has since had roles in “Person to Person” (2017) and on “Scream Queens” (2015).
