Gordon Ramsay's Future Food Stars was under fire from fuming fans who slammed contestants who weren't cooking with their hair tied back. The Michelin-starred chef's new BBC show kicked off its fourth week on Thursday night (April 21), where contestants had to take over a fancy diner in the Cotswolds. They were split up into three teams and tasked with designing their own menus, running their own kitchen and whipping up delicious dishes for paying customers. However, some fans realised some of the food stars were preparing their meals without having tied their hair back. The viewers thought this was rather unhygienic, and took to to Twitter to complain about it.One fan wrote: "Why have these people not got their hair tied up?

Gross"A second said: "The woman with the dark curly hair needs to tie it up"A third agreed: "Hair should be tied back crap health and safety"A fourth said: "Don’t they have to wear hair nets"A fifth added: "Why isn’t her hair tied back".

It's common practice for chefs with long hair to tie their hair back in nets, as it reduces the risk of their hair falling into the meals they're cooking. This is a live TV story and is being constantly updated.
