GORDON Ramsay can be seen killing and eating a swamp rat in stomach-churning scenes from his new show. The 53-year-old TV chef samples the food and culture of different countries in his National Geographic programme Uncharted.
The latest episode aired in the US at the weekend, with Gordon in Southern state Louisiana where he learned about the Nutria - a huge water rat that is described as a "straight-tailed beaver".
Local marine-turned-award-winning-chef Eric Cook explained to the star that the area has become overrun with the creatures, who are destroying the eco-system, which is why they have started eating them.
