Google Maps users slam 'cruel' SeaWorld as orcas' cramped enclosure seen from space

whales pictured by Google Maps reveals just how small their enclosure is at SeaWorld Orlando.A Reddit user shared a screenshot of the the satellite image to the Google Maps community, where people expressed their disgust at the whales' apparent conditions.Interestingly the whales were nowhere to be seen at the Orca Encounter in a link shared in the comments section, which was otherwise the same aerial shot of the tanks.After years of campaigning from animal activists, SeaWorld announced in 2016 that it was ending its killer whale breeding program but would continue to care for the ones already housed at attractions.Its website says: "SeaWorld’s killer whales are vital to that mission, and while they will be the last generation of killer whales at SeaWorld, they will still be around for decades to come, inspiring millions of guests and people across the globe to take action with us today."But as one Reddit user points out their enclosures hardly offer the natural freedom of the ocean.

Commenting on the post titled "Orcas at Sea World", someone commented: "Imagine having near infinite space to swim versus that sh**.
