Good Morning Britain's Alex Beresford has recalled his own experience of workplace racism at a former job, in defence of Meghan Markle's recent interview.
During the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan claimed that there were conversations within the royal family about "how dark" their son Archie's skin "might be". "In those months when I was pregnant [there were] concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he was born," Meghan said.
Speaking on the morning news programme, Alex revealed that he had experienced "covert and overt racism" and shared a similar story.
