During Thursday's episode, Dr Sarah said that more research has shown that small particles of Covid-19 can float up into the air rather than dropping down.She said: "This is exactly the same theory that has led us to review out advice on masks, which has led us to suggest that face coverings will reduce risk, and that's because of aerosols."At the outset, pretty much all viruses spread by two main ways – one is droplets when you cough or sneeze, and the virus is fairly heavy, it comes out and it goes downwards because it's in big droplets."The other is when you contaminate a surface and then touch your eyes, nose or mouth."She went.
