Streaming service HBO Max has temporarily removed Gone with the Wind from its film offering. The move comes following the protests for Black Lives Matter sparked by the death of George Floyd in the US.
The 1939 romantic epic is the highest-grossing film of all-time when adjusted for inflation and stars Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable as iconic romantic characters Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler, opposite Olivia de Havilland as Melanie Hamilton.
Gone with the Wind won ten Academy Awards following its release, including for Best Picture, Best Director for Victor Fleming, and Best Actress for Leigh.
