GMB's Dr Hilary says care home residents depend on new Oxford vaccine being approved fast

Good Morning Britain 's Dr Hilary Jones has said care home residents will rely on the Oxford Covid-19 vaccine which has not yet been approved.

The news was released on Wednesday that the Pfiezer/BioNTech vaccine, which has a 95% effectiveness rate, has now been approved in the UK.

But Dr Hilary said this vaccine poses many logistical problems because  it requires storage at -70/80 degrees. This makes it much harder to transport, and he says it will likely be used to vaccinate healthcare workers in groups of 500.
