Good Morning Britain's Dr Hilary Jones has warned people not to book summer holidays this year due to the pandemic, calling it "not safe".
Speaking to hosts Adil Ray and Susanna Reid, Dr Hilary questioned if holidays abroad were essential during Covid, or if they were a luxury that could be avoided for a while, for the safety of others.
Dr Hilary asked: "Is a holiday really important and essential in a global pandemic? "It really isn't, it's a luxury, it's something people can do without in order to preserve life." "There are a lot of NHS workers who deserve a holiday," said Susanna, who accused Dr Hilary of "guilt-tripping" people. "Go to Wales!" replied Adil.
