Glasgow woman was left stunned after discovering what appears to be a piece of a human heart inside her new kitchen. Kathryn Gaston had been exploring her new build home when she came across an unusual plastic container.Things became somewhat grim when it was revealed to be an aortic valve floating in a jar of formaldehyde.
The valve is normally found inside the human heart between the left ventricle and the aorta. Kathryn shared her freaky find for a competition run by furniture firm ScS.
People across the UK shared similar stories of creepy items left behind by the previous home owners. Others included a food log from an old mental hospital from the 1920s, a rabbit skull and a resuscitation doll used for CPR training.
