Giant python rescued after escaping and getting wedged in family's kitchen door

A video shows firefighters use special equipment to take the door off its hinges and release the snake at the family home in Bournemouth.The python is then returned to her grateful owners Sophie, 16, and Grace, eight, who stroke the snake while mum Jenny thanks the fire service for coming out and helping with their unusual problem.Talking to the camera Jenny says: "I rung them and explained my situation."If they had said no it’s not something they would have helped out with then obviously we would have sorted something else out."But they were quite happy to come out and assist and I can’t thank them enough."She added: "It is animal welfare so if it’s a dog or a cat or a snake now, they all need the same rescue." Jenny said she.
