David Robert Joseph Beckham OBE (born 2 May 1975) is an English former professional footballer, the current president of Inter Miami CF and co-owner of Salford City. He played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, LA Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and the England national team, for which he held the appearance record for an outfield player until 2016. He is the first English player to win league titles in four countries: England, Spain, the United States and France. Manchester United legend Gary Neville has opened up about being roommates with David Beckham, revealing he had "two big problems" with his former team-mate.

Neville and Beckham stayed with each other for around six months but they simply "weren't compatible with each other" as roommates.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Neville said: "I roomed with David Beckham for about six months and then the whole rooming with players completely stopped because everybody went into their own individual rooms. "I think they worked out that players weren’t compatible with each other and that each went to bed at different times.
