Police are investigating two incidents in one day in which armed men were reported to have clashed in street fights. It is not known at this stage whether they are linked to a vicious three-way gun war between two Cheetham Hill crime gangs and one from Salford which resulted in a spate of shootings from late 2019 through 2020.
