The Times said they have been told that Boris Johnson will lift the 30-person limit on weddings even if the easing of other lockdown restrictions is delayed.
It comes as Mr Johnson, who married Carrie Symonds in a 'small ceremony' at Westminster last month, will host a coronavirus Downing Street briefing today at 6pm.
The PM will be joined by England's chief medical officer, Professor Chris Whitty, and chief scientific adviser, Sir Patrick Vallance.
