Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

GB News delighted with his current affairs show after hosting what many have called a "refreshing" lockdown debate.Whilst presenting his 9pm show on Thursday evening (June 17), host Dan began by addressing the topic of the UK lockdown extension.This comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson's order to delay the initial 'Freedom Day' of June 21, when all lockdown restrictions including social distancing were set to be scrapped, on Monday (June 14).

Dan said: "It’s amazing to me how little coverage last night’s vote to extend the current lockdown and push back Freedom Day by a month has received."This also comes as 49 backbench Conservative MPs rebelled and voted against an extension to the lockdown.Defending the rebel MPs, Dan said they.
