Lloyds Banking Group has announced it will close 136 more high street branches before March next year, including five in Greater Manchester.
The closures - which will affect Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland branches - come as the group accelerates plans to cut costs and digitise the bank.
The group has announced that 61 Lloyds branches will close, along with 61 Halifax branches and 14 Bank of Scotland branches.
All of the closures will take place between May this year and March 2026. Among the Greater Manchester branches affected are the Lloyds in Farnworth, Bolton, which will close in May.
