Urgent appeal for missing Greater Manchester woman last seen this morning

Police say they are becoming 'increasingly concerned' about a Wigan woman reported missing this morning. Barbara was last seen on Gathurst Lane, Shevington, between 8:30am and 9am today (Sunday, February 16).

She is described as 5ft 5, has dark brown hair with silver streaks and is possibly wearing a green cagoule. Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Barbara and want to make sure she is safe and well.

Anybody with information has been asked to contact Greater Manchester Police. A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Can you help police find a missing woman from Shevington? "Barbara, aged 80, was last seen on Gathurst lane today (16/2/25) between 08:30am and 09:00am.

Barbara is described as approx 5ft 5 tall, she has dark brown hair with silver streaks. She is possibly wearing a green Cagoule "Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Barbara and want to make sure she is safe and well."
