Frank Lampard criticised Timo Werner's performance after Chelsea's defeat to Arsenal while confirming Callum Hudson-Odoi will start the next game against Aston Villa.
Werner started on the left of the Blues' front three at the Emirates, despite having not scored in any of his last nine games for Chelsea.
The German forward did little for his side during the Boxing Day London derby, with Lampard deciding to haul him off at half-time.
Hudson-Odoi came on in his place and impressed enough to earn himself a role in Chelsea's next match, as Lampard admitted his disappointment with Werner's contribution.
