Former Boca Juniors star Zarate jailed after being found guilty of manslaughter

Camera footage is said to show Zarate's car smashing into the taxi at high speed before continuing into a nearby roadside crash barrier before coming to a halt.Zarate is said to be planning an appeal, but his career as a professional left-back appears to be all but over at the age of 28 following his Boca breakthrough eight years ago back in 2013.Zarate played 30 times for Boca in the league, making a further 23 outings while on loan at Godoy Cruz.
