Christine Diane Teigen (born November 30, 1985) is an American model, television personality, and author.
She made her modeling debut in the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2010 and later appeared on the 50th anniversary cover alongside Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge in 2014.
She also co-hosted Lip Sync Battle with LL Cool J on Paramount Network (2015–2019).
Food critic Alison Roman’s New York Times column has been placed on “temporary leave” after she made controversial comments about stars including Chrissy Teigen and Marie Kondo.
Earlier this month, Roman hit headlines after she made insensitive remarks about Teigen and Kondo’s respective businesses, telling the New York Post’s Page Six gossip column in an interview that Teigen’s Cravings website was a “content farm” and that author Kondo, star of hit Netflix series Tidying Up with Marie Kondo, had “sold out”.
However, a representative for the publication confirmed to the Daily Beast on Tuesday that Roman’s column has been halted in the wake of the comments.
