There are five major changes in the works that people should be aware of. The Sun reports that one of these updates is the ability to forward pictures and videos to your contacts and add a caption, which you're unable to do right now.
Another one that's currently being tested in beta is detecting text in WhatsApp images so that you can copy and paste it - and this could be handy for things like documents and forms, saving you from having to type out any of the details yourself.
