HMRC reveals Lanarkshire residents among almost 65,000 customers to pay self assessment bills via its app since last April

HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has revealed Lanarkshire residents are among the almost 65,000 customers to have paid their self assessment bills via its app since April last year.Last month, a total of 14,170 customers paid via the app - the highest number of app payments in one month since the facility was launched in February 2022.The self assessment deadline for the 2021 to 2022 tax year is January 31 and HMRC is urging Lanarkshire customers not to delay completing their tax return and paying any tax owed.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
