Huge police response as masked gang cause chaos in Lanarkshire town

Cops raced to Uddingston on Saturday night following reports of masked youths running riot in the street.Locals reported seeing blue lights tear through Bothwell Main Street on their way to the Porters Well and Old Glasgow Road areas of neighbouring Uddingston.Social media posts claimed dozens of teenagers were seen carrying baseball bats and wearing balaclavas, leading to the heavy police response in the area.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
