A fisherman was left stunned after he discovered a loaded Nazi submachine gun in a river. He hauled out the German World War II weapon - and found that it still had bullets inside.

After the fisherman called the police, experts say it's possible the weapon was ditched by a German spy. Such spies were well-known to have brought weapons to Britain.
