Emergency services were called to the fire at the property in Verdun Road, Winton, at about 5pm yesterday (Thursday, February 4).Fire engines from Salford, Agecroft and Eccles stations were dispatched and crews spent around two hours at the scene.Firefighters wearing specialist breathing gear managed to bring the flames under control.The cause of the blaze has not yet been determined.No one is believed to have been injured.A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “At around 5pm on Thursday 4 February three fire engines from Salford, Agecroft and Eccles fire stations were called to reports of a fire at a terraced domestic property on Verdun Road, Eccles.“Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two.
