Firefighters are tackling a 'well developed' blaze at a Greenock home. Crews raced to the house on Plover Lane around 12pm on Sunday and remain on the scene.The home is thought to be badly damaged by the blaze as firefighters sealed off the area.Four fire engines were sent to fight the flames and there is currently no information on any injuries.A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 12.16pm to reports of a house fire in Greenock.“Operations Control mobilised four fire appliances to Plover Lane where firefighters were met by a well-developed fire.“Crews currently remain on the scene working to extinguish the fire.".
