Aberdeenshire, on Monday afternoon.Fire crews raced to the scene as four appliances were sent to deal with the building that was well alight.It is understood the former pub is about 200 years old and has previously been reported as one of Aberdeenshire's “historic” buildings.The extent of the damage is not yet clear but the hotel was gutted by the flames.
Around 20 firefighters were at the scene on South Deeside Road after receiving a call at 3.22pm.It's not believed there were any injuries as a result of the fire and enquiries are ongoing to establish the cause.
