A huge fire has broken out on Bournemouth beach on a hill that leads to the seafront.Police have said the fire has been caused by a beach hut with flames spreading through the cliff face.People have been told to stay away from the area, with residents advised to keep doors and windows closed.Pictures and footage from the scene show the fire, on West Undercliff, burning on the cliff face with thick plumes of black smoke visable.Multiple crews from Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene on Monday afternoon.A spokeswoman said: "We were called to the scene at 3.51pm and have fire crews in attendance from Redhill Park, Springbourne, Westbourne and Christchurch, together with the aerial appliance from Westbourne."Additional.
