EastEnders’ Jake Wood finds quick way to sail through Covid temperature test – arriving on set in £20k convertible Mini

JAKE Wood has found a great work-around for awkward coronavirus temperature checks - by driving his convertible straight into the EastEnders set.

The 48-year-old star was spotted looking effortlessly cool as he drove up to the studio gates in a red open-top Mini, worth around £20,000.

With his roof down, a guard wearing a protective visor mask was able to quickly check Jake's temperature without manoeuvring around a window or asking him to hop out.

Jake wore sunglasses on his way into work, with filming for the BBC One soap only resuming last month after all TV production was brought to a halt back in March.
