From Gartmore to Greenland - that’s the dream of a local filmmaker who is hoping to make the world around her tidier in an effort to fund her expedition.Charlotte Workman, 29, who splits time between the village and her native Aberfoyle, has been invited to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime expedition to film a mammoth 300-mile world-record attempt crossing sea ice and unexplored peaks on the freezing island.Alongside documenting the world-record attempt, Charlotte will also be filming an environmental documentary detailing the impact of climate change in one of the most remote parts of the world.It all came about after Charlotte responded to a urgent call on Instagram for a videographer to help film the attempt after the previous filmmaker.
