Father and son duo's epic cycle ride to raise money for Perth charities

Perthshire are due to complete a mammoth cycling challenge this week. Neil (53) and Sam (16) Campbell set off from John O’Groats on June 10 with the aim of pedalling all the way to Lands End.The pair, who live near Forgandenny, have been cycling around 80 miles a day and are within touching distance of their goal and are expected to arrive at Lands End on Tuesday, June 22.They have also raised over £2000 for two worthwhile local charities - The Lighthouse for Perth and Perth Autism Support.Last week they were able to stop off at Sam’s school, the Community School of Auchterarder.Sam’s mum and Neil’s wife Dalhia explained they picked Perth Autism Support as one of the charities because it has helped support Sam’s brother Ethan (14) who also.
