farmer has died after been stung over 100 times in a horrifying attack from a swarm of killer bees.The attack took place in the town of Presidente Getulio in the southern Brazilian state of Santa Catarina on, Thursday January 27.Denize Savalagio Kniess, 29, was attacked by a savage swarm of bees at her farm, where she lived with her husband and infant daughter.Reports suggest the woman died after suffering over 100 stings in the assault, leaving behind a five-month-old daughter and her husband.Kniess was transferred from hospital to hospital after the incident and was in a critical condition.She was reportedly taken to the local Hospital e Maternidade (Hospital and Maternity) site, but was soon transferred to the Hospital Doutor Waldomiro Colautti in the neighbouring town of Ibirama.The hospital switch occurred the following day, with Kniess spending a day at Hospital e Maternidade and being transferred to the Ibirama site on Friday, January 28.A hospital director said the young farmer needed to be treated in the intensive care unit.They also added that the condition of the woman was critical, and she was incubated for her stay in the Hospital Doutor Waldormiro Colautti.Doctors reported that she succumbed to her wounds two days after being placed in the ICU at around 5am on Sunday, January 30.The young mother's wake was held at the Ireja Catolica de Sao Jose (Catholic Church of St.

Joseph) in Presidente Getulio on Sunday afternoon.Kniess was buried in the local Catholic cemetery on the morning of Monday, January 31.
