But that's exactly what the Juventus star did as a Manchester United player while warming up ahead of a Premier League showdown at Stamford Bridge back in 2008, in an old video which has resurfaced.
Ronaldo attempted to showboat by trapping a descending ball between both feet, but got the move wrong and was forced to retrieve the ball which had escaped his control and rolled towards the jeering Blues fans.
But rather than put his head down in embarrassment, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner showed off his skills by flicking the ball
